Does he/she participate in programs like dance, art or sports on weekends with an agency or program? Do you presently sit in on an English as a Second Language class after work?
You may want to give your service provider a call or pay a visit, if they haven’t already contacted you.
Many of the activities that Bronx families rely on for quality care service for their children after school, and for their own education and employment, are funded by the Community Service Block Grants (CSBG).

Yaroa. The name sparks the imagination.
Is it a major ecological destination in the Andes? A new Nike high-top? Or one of the long lost members of The Avengers?

When Lydia Perez speaks, her eyes sparkle, her smile widens, and her gestures become energetic. At age 80, the Bronx grandmother lives a healthy, active lifestyle, and looks joyfully at the future.“I feel strong,” she says. “I am old, but that doesn't mean that life is over.”
Perez, a geriatrics patient at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, suffers arthritis, high blood pressure, and other conditions commonly associated with aging. Nonetheless, she keeps busy: she walks almost daily, does her own shopping, keeps up with medications and doctors' appointments, enjoys sharing with friends and family, eats and sleeps well, and is not depressed or anxious
Is a celebration in the works? Perhaps a birthday, baptism, Quinceañera or Christmas. La familia gathers for festivities and celebrations, which creates opportunities for grandparents to see grandchildren. Most grandparents jump at any chance to spend time with their grandkids. These visits are a joy few grandparents pass up, especially when they don’t live nearby.
